The Context: Two cities are separated by 13 railways south of Paris making any commute between them impossible. Travelling to get from one to the other means walking several kilometres on foot ...
The Idea: Concept turbine towers will convert the energy in the air, created by the passing trains, into mechanical energy. The tower then uses that force to raise sand by means of endless screws driven into the earth. Year after year they will re-shape the sand dunes to cover the railway tracks and thus make it possible to cross directly from one city to the other.
